Durability- Agree.Â
Strength- Not sure, Heisei Godzilla can lift Biolantte. http://static6.comicvine.com/uploads/scale_super/11119/111191676/4115560-gz+feat+strength+%2810%29.png And she is 200,000 tons. If Ultraman can lift more than that Ultraman gets the point.Â
Beam-Undecided, Â First off Godzilla has 3 beam attacks you're describing the heat beam. (Which was able to piecre through Mech King Ghidora's 23rd Century armor.) There is also Spiral Ray which is much more powerful. It one shotted Mechagodzilla II and it only took a few shots to defeat Spacegodzilla. . There's also Nuclear Pulse. Which can push King Ghidora(90,000 tons) back a distance. Ultraman can probably dodge the other attacks but not nuclear pulse. Not sure if there's some limit to how many times Godzilla can use nuclear pulse though. Â
Skill- Agree
Speed- Mostly agree, but Godzilla is quick, he just can't run. His claw attacks, tail attacks, and firing his beam he can do very fast. So if Ultraman will have problems fighting close range. But Ultraman might be able to jump over his tail. Also Godzilla killed Megaguirus(Mach 4 speed.) despite it being much faster than him. He caught her stinger with his mouth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDcLHCtgblI#t=93
Feats- Would like to add in some feats.Â
Heisei Godzilla swimming under the earth's crust.Â
Walking out of a volcano after 4 years of being inside.Â
Surviving Kiryu's Absoulute Zero Cannon
Surviving a man made black hole, also his cells were able to survive an actual black hole in Godzilla Vs Space Godzilla.Â
This isn't getting into the Final Wars, IDW, and Burning Godzilla.
Beam: Ultraman still wins, because Godzilla Spiral Ray, is a charged up, more intense version of his normal beam, which still means that in terms of mechanics the Ultras' are more deadly. It really just boils down to 'try harder' or 'put some serious effort into the attack', it is still something the Ultras are resistant too, while the mechcanics of their beams means Godzilla's durability is not likely to withstand theirs.
Speed: Godzilla doesn't move muc faster than typical lumbering Kaiju the Ultramen have fought, also that thing with Megaguiros's stinger, she wasn't moving that fast, especially not compared to the rest of the fight and he just turned around. It says that Godzilla has good reaction time, but in terms of actually, moving, dodging attacks he falls behind. Seriously it is not that hard to hit him, which is the point.
Feats:
He survived the Absolute Cannon because of the ocean, most of its energy went into the bloom of ice at the end of the movie, instead of him. What amount did hit him, badly injured him and despite his regenerative powers, he was still partially injured in the next movie
He survived the Black Hole, both of them, but tunneling underground. With the first Micro Black Hole, he arose outside of the blast radius of the crater it made, meaning he had to have tunnel faster than what you would expect. The second time, he set it off prematurely and escaped underground again. The fact remains he was never actually 'hit' head on by either of those two micro singularities.
The Volcano thing, I didn't use it because well, that's basically like the Ultras whose planet is so hot and bright that it would instantly incinerate any normal life form. I was looking for feats that seperated the two not something that was similar.
Nuclear Pulse usually happens when his mouth is obstructed, or something is holding on to him and he can't get free, that's the only use for it. It's not an attack so much as a defense mechanism and I've only seen it used to get free, or to get some space. Unless Godzilla is pinned down, it's not much use beyond that. You could argue that he would use it to stall for time, but that requires thinking, that big G doesn't posses and is against his aggressive nature.
Strength: Ultraman is noted to lift 200,000 tons, all noted feats of strength and above 100,000 tons. Also...comics are not good for canon. I barely want to mention Story 0, only because it is representative of how Tsuburaya wanted the official backstory and facts of the Ultras to be. The things in there were presented as the official backstory of the Ultras, their evolution and range of abilitiesThe Godzilla Mangas take detours in the stories to are suppose to be versions of, and are more the artists interpretation than actual.
This brings me to what I hate most about trying to argue Ultraman VS Godzilla, consistency. With Ultraman and the Ultras as a species, there is much more consistancy and conherence in what they can do and the range and limits of their abilities.
The problem then comes to Godzilla, besides fan bias, there are multiple versions of him. I try to argue against the general average power level shown between the Heisei and Millenium era, and you have mostly stuck to that, which I am most impressed by, but then someone is going to argue for some amalgamation version of him, in which case, just put a Super Ultra against him, wherein Big G has no hope of winning. Or they will attempt to throw in Final Wars Goji, wherein it is only fair to put him against another overpowered normal Ultra, which in this case are Ultraman Zero and Seven X, both of whom have no time limit and again, it's not fair.
At the end of the day, the only logical and fair conclusion I can reach is this.
Godzilla= A very powerful foe for the Ultras to fight.
Ultraman= A very powerful foe for Godzilla to fight, but who is hampered by the fact that the fight can only last three minutes for most versions.
.
About Megaguirus, Godzilla basically did what I can do on WoT: If an ELC AMX is going at top speed, just aim a little bit in front, and boom, hit. Predict where the moving target will be, and aim there.
I kind of think a more interesting discussion on if Godzilla could handle Ultra kaiju and if Ultras could handle Godzilla kaiju.Â
"Godzilla: Can lift and throw monsters his own size and a little bigger."
Godzilla can lift and throw Biollante that is x3 times bigger than him!
It really depends on the Godzilla and Ultra. Showa Godzilla gave Zone Fighter a run for his money in what little we saw of their sparring match. And while Zone Fighter won, Showa Godzilla was still able to catch him in midair flight and push him back on the ground so it's not a completely one sided match. Zone Fighter is very similar to the Ultras, he is really OP but has a time limit. Both Zone Fighter and Ultras have lost to weaker monsters than Godzilla because of the time limit, and leep in mind Zone Fighter has beaten Showa King Ghidorah by himself but even he has had to have Godzilla save him from being ganged up on by weaker monsters.
I think if Godzilla was fighting seriusly he could win by proxy thanks to the time limit, damaging the Color Timer or having his gang of Monster Island buddies with him. The one thing Godzilla has in common with the Ultras and Zone FIghter is they have trouble fighting more than one monster at once.
Godzilla could beat some of the Ultras but he'd lose to others. It'd mostly come down to just outlasting their time limit for a lot of them and some don't even have a time limit and some are just too OP to even last second against let alone minutes.
I agree with TrueLivingCorspe's points. I believe that Godzilla could beat your average showa Ultra one-on-one unless they used their more devastating attacks (Ultra Guillotine, a well placed Eye Slugger, Â or any other attacks that could slice Godzilla up). Hesei Ultras on the other hand, would be harder as they have lots of power-ups. Â Ultimate forms, fusion Ultras, super Ultras, etc would defeat Godzilla. Normal Ultras would not, or at the very least they would fight him to a standstill. The always overpowered Zero, would stand a chance of defeating Godzilla.Â
I'm actually working on a Godzilla vs Ultraman fight for a project I'm doing. In this scenario, Godzilla is able to fight off, and neary beat, the original Ultraman, until Seven, Jack, and Ace arrive. After this Godzilla is overpowered by the four Ultras but is still manageing to hold them off. Â Godzilla manages to last long enough for their Color timers to start blinking, and then gets the upper hand. Â At the end of it, both sides have fought to s standstill. The Ultras are on their knees, color timers still blinking away, and Godzilla is seemeingly downed. Big G then porceeds to get back up and charges his red spiral beam, whilst Ace prepares the Ultra Guillotine, Seven is about to throw his eye slugger, and OG and Jack get ready to fire their specium rays. Â Luckiley, Godzilla's clidren (Minya and Jr) step in with their new friend, Ultraman Cosmos. Being the pacifist that he is, as well as being aware that Godzilla has children, attemps to calm down the Ultras, while Jr and Minya try to call off their dad. The Ultras and Godzilla both stop their fighting. Cosmos informs them that a new threat is rising, and they have to work together for the good of the planet. Godzilla and the Ultras agree to join forces. The story continues from there.Â
I'm the fandom user that posted 3 days ago, I have an account now,and I had  just found this thread at the time I wrote that. I was not aware it was dead.Â
