Trivia[]
- Capsule Kaiju was one of the several inspirations for the creation of the Pokémon franchise, inspiring aspects like a monster that is a friend and ally to a leader, the portable container it can be housed and summoned from, and the recall command of "Return!". Early iterations of Pokémon during the first stages of production even used the title "Capsule Monsters" for the series name before it was changed.
