The preparation draft of "Yumenokatamari"

  • In the script of the preparation draft, the provisional title of this episode is "Yumenokatamari" (夢のかたまり, Yumenokatamari), with the difference being that the title is written in hiragana form.[1]
  • Originally, this episode was intended to be directed by Akio Jissoji, and the script had already been written. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the directorial duties were reassigned to Mitsunori Hattori, a member of the film production team "Kodai group" affiliated with Jissoji.[2]
  • In the initial draft, this episode was originally numbered as episode 38, but due to a swap in airing order with the originally planned episode 37, "Monster Drama," its number was changed to its current designation.[3]
  • In this episode, the location "INTERIOR SPACE Aya", which served as the setting for the home of Ippei Baba in Gridman the Hyper Agent, makes an appearance.
