Another redeco of the Ultra Hero 500 Tiga mold, Glitter Tiga features translucent gold-yellow PVC plastic with some speckled glitter molded on it (presumably homaging the older Ultra Hero Series "Final Version" figure), and he features white paint on both the eyes and color timer.
Unlike most UHS(500) figures, Glitter Tiga is released under the 300 yen pricepoint due to its minimal paint operations, though the item retained the usual pricepoint if released at other Asian countries.

S.H.Figuarts[]

An S.H.Figuarts Tiga prototype was previously shown off at TAMASHII NATION 2016, but remains unreleased 5 years later in favor of the Shinkocchou Seihou iteration (below).

    • Release Date: July 2021
    • Price: 6,600 yen
    • JAN/ISBN: TBA
    • Materials: PVC, ABS, TPE
    • Accessories: 6 left hands, 5 right hands, Zeperion Beam effect/alternate right forearm, Red Color timer
S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Tiga is a 15 cm tall collectible action figure molded/colored in this default Multi Type form, and the first Shinkocchou Seihou (真骨彫製法) released on the line. Aside from his hand parts and alternate color timer, Tiga also comes with an alternate forearm with a Zeperion Beam effect molded on
As the figure intends to recreate Shunsuke Gondo's (Tiga's suit actor) physique and movements, the abdomen is molded in softer plastic, allowing it to bend frontwards. Like the renewal ULTRA-ACT figure, Tiga features a soft chest protector, allowing a more natural Zeperion Beam gesture.
Exercise caution while handling the figure for the first time: As the paint on the soft chest protectors are prone to chipping when taken out for posing, this can be avoided by leaving the figure dry (while untouched) for 1-2 weeks after being taken out from the packaging, as it allows the paint to fully dry. Alternatively, you can use a can of Rubber Protectant to spray onto the chest protector parts (the limbs and head must be separated beforehand) and wait it to dry for a week. Due to the softer material used, the painted details on the abdomen will have a good chance of cracking if bent too much.
Initial releases come with a special booklet. The bonus hand part from the Shinkocchou Seihou Ultraman can be used on this figure to recreate the hand-shaking moment in The Ultra Star.
A knock-off of this figure has been making the rounds since 2022, so buyer beware; This release is known to be additionally decoed into Power, Sky, Tiga Dark, Tiga Tornado and Tiga Blast before any possible official releases of them.
The figure was re-issued in 2022, likely in conjunction with the reveal of the Power Type figure. This reissue amends the problems from the initial release such as the abdomen piece, which is now molded in the same hardened PVC used for the Power Type figure, and the coloring is much more vibrant. Like the ULTRA-ACT figure, Tiga Power Type comes with his signature Deracium Beam Torrent effects (with molded hands). This figure also features a slightly harder PVC material on the abdomen, amending any possible paint-cracking issues upon bending. This change is also applied to future re-releases of the mold, which includes the original Multi Type figure.
