Baranda V (バランダーV, Barandā Bui) is the first robot that fought Fireman. He appeared in episode 10. It is also known as Varander V.

Fireman[]

The manually controlled Alien Baranda robot, created in an attempt ​​to destroy Tokyo, Baranda V quickly began to create chaos with in Tokyo. Not long after it began to point its guns at the public Fireman arrived to destroy it, but the hero was quickly weakened by Baranda V's chest gun. With their hero down SAF attacked Baranda V and successfully destroyed its chest gun. Fireman soon came back to the action but was easily beaten around the city. Soon Fireman forehead warning light began to blink, with little time left Fireman quickly obtained the upper hand in the fight. Seeing he was defeated Alien Baranda tried to control Baranda V off of earth, but Fireman fired a Fire Flash at Baranda V, which incinerated both it and the Alien Baranda.

Trivia[]

  • Baranda V was originally planned to reappear in Ultraman Zero Gaiden: Killer the Beatstar as part of Beatstar's Robot Monster Army.
  • Stock footage of Baranda V's attack was used in episode 1 of Dinosaur Great War Izenborg, though Baranda V itself did not appear. The destruction was spliced with footage of Dorango to make him appear to be the culprit.
  • The Baranda V suit would have been modified into a unused Jumborg Ace kaiju called Time Kong.

Powers and Weapons
  • Cannon Chest: Armed with six cannon barrels in its chest, Baranda V can use these devastate cities.
  • Force Field: Baranda V can create a yellow capsule-like force field around its body to deflect energy attacks.
  • Rocket Punch: The robot can shoot off its hands, which are apparently radio controlled, to punch a foe.
  • Finger Tipped Lasers: From the tips of Baranda V's hands, the machine can fire off a series of blue energy blasts.
  • Levitation: Using the electricity from its massive body, the machine can levitate objects almost as large as it, using them as gigantic boulders to throw at opponents.
  • Shock Grip: Channeling years of stored up energy, Baranda V can shock other monsters (and Fireman) into submission.
