Ultraman

A monster known as Goldar suddenly appeared in the town of Arena in a certain country. Time had passed, and two years after the arena town was destroyed. At the home of the secret group "Sun-Dust", built on an uninhabited island somewhere on the earth. Ultraman managed to ward Goldar, but at the same time, the Color Timer started blinking. In order to settle the matter early, Ultraman fired a huge Ultra Slash by concentrating energy toward approaching Goldar. The Ultra Slash cut through the Goldar-Drill and hit Goldar's chest directly. • Goldar was ment to be in the original Ultraman show, but due to budget and time constraints, was dropped. His concept art shows him with humanoid legs.
• His name is shared with a villain from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the English name of the title character of Ambassador Magma (The Space Giants).
• It is a bit strange episode written by Shozo Uehara, one of the main scriptwriters of the TV Ultraman series in the point that Ulltraman's enemy was a secret human group 'Sun-Dust'. They have a unique scientific culture, for example, they built a full-scale Ultraman statue of the same hardness as the original.
