Kate is a powerful Reionics and Rei's older sister. She served as Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle's main villain.
History[]
Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle[]
Kate was a Reionics who tried to interfere with Rei with every possible means. She first took on the appearance of a bio-plant researcher named Maki Azusa and pretended to be a survivor of the destruction on Planet Boris, while taunting Rei telepathically. After her first monster, a Fire Golza, was defeated, she suddenly accused Rei of causing Planet Boris's destruction with his monsters in front of the ZAP SPACY crew, even claiming he killed her family and friends. The Trap in Belargo City The crew were slightly uncertain about who to believe, with her particularly targetting the sympathetic Oki. Telling Rei his purpose in life is to battle, Kate kidnapped Oki and forced him to fight her next monster, Gan-Q. Although believing that Rei's friends hold him back as anger is the true key to growing stronger, help from the ZAP SPACY crew became Gan-Q's downfall, and so she left before revealing her goal was to help Rei grow stronger. Kate eventually returned with a new outfit, observing King Joe Black's battle with Angross and Gromite, The Pendragon Doesn't Rise to the Surface! as well as against Rei's Gomora. Unexpected Reunion She later summoned her newest monster, Zetton, on Vincent Island, prepared to face ZAP SPACY and all three of Rei's monsters. Ultraman Although outnumbered, she won the battle and noticed Rei's awakening was soon approaching. In a vision, she revealed to Rei the truth of his identity and Alien Reiblood, before challenging him to one final trial. Reiblood
As Rei and Kate met for their last battle, she revealed Rei's real name was Reimon, and that he was her younger brother. Rei's Gomora faced Kate's Zetton once more, and their fight became a True Reionics Battle, where they feel the pain of their monsters, even being at risk of death should they lose. Rei and his Gomora struggled and both were seemingly defeated when Gomora leapt in front of one of Zetton's beams to protect Haruna's ship, leaving Kate sorely disappointed. King Joe Black then suddenly appeared and began to combat Zetton. Rei eventually got back up and achieved his aforementioned awakening by transforming into true form, Reimon, much to Kate's delight. This also turned his Gomora into EX Gomora, and it made short work of both King Joe Black and Zetton.
Having lost the battle, Kate began to perish. In her final moments, she asserted that her goal was to strengthen Rei and that he must defeat all the other Reionics and become Alien Reiblood's successor. Planet Escape
Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey[]
After Rei lost to Grande, it was revealed that she 'survived' as a spirit, first appearing in front of the ZAP SPACY crew in the Pendragon to explain what was wrong with Rei once he lost Eleking and that they had to return to Planet Hammer to retrieve Rei's Battlenizer. She also visited Grande, telling him not to underestimate her brother, though Grande only commented that he thought she was attractive. Lastly, she appeared to Rei in a vision, asking if he could hear the voices of his comrades. The Second Awakening
Soon before Rei's last battle against the only other remaining Reionics, Grande, Kate visited Rei in another vision. Although stating that her desire was for Rei to defeat the Reionics and rule as the successor of Alien Reiblood's bloodline, she accepted Rei's wish to follow his own path and defeat Alien Reiblood. - Battlenizer: Like her brother, Kate also had Battlenizer thanks to her being a Reionics. She owned three kaiju:
- Fire Golza: Golza in a much stronger form, Fire Golza was the first monster to appear from Kate's Battlenizer. He first appeared to battle a number of Sadolas and killed them all, but when he was in battle with Gomora, Gomora impaled Golza with his horn, surging his Oscillation Wave through his body. Even though Golza tore the horn out of his body, he still fell and in the end was destroyed by Kate's Gan-Q.
- Gan-Q: A monster even more ferocious than Fire Golza, Gan-Q was the second monster commanded by Kate. Gan-Q entered battle with Gomora, Litra, and the Space Pendragon and was defeated by the ship's Hyper Omega Gun.
- Zetton: The Space Dinosaur itself, Zetton was the third, final, and most powerful monster that belonged to Kate. In episode 12, Zetton entered battle with all of Rei's monsters (Gomora, Litra, and Eleking) and outmatched them all. In the final episode, when Zetton defeated Gomora and King Joe Black appeared, fighting Zetton to a standstill, Gomora transformed into EX Gomora and defeated them both, which resulted in Kate's supposed death.
- Spiritual Form: Kate can project herself in a spiritual form in front of anyone she wishes. Like her ancestor, Reiblood, Kate can survive in a spiritual state. She can manifest her physical appearance, but generally takes the form of a bright white light.
