Satan Mora , also called Satanmore, is a saucer creature who summoned by Black Directive in Ultraman Leo.

Design

Satan Mora and Little Mora's design is based on a woodpecker and the Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde supersonic airliner.

History

Ultraman Leo

After the majority of his flying saucer beasts perished in battle against Leo, Black Directive was running out of his pets to send after the Ultra Warrior, having only three remaining. Satan Mora, a birdlike kaiju, was his next of his vile behemoths to be called into the war with Earth. While the terrible bird made its way to Earth, Black continued watching Gen, discovering he'd soon be in one of the city's skyscrapers, the insidious alien concocted a plan to use his latest creature. Satan Mora soon reached Earth and was picked up on radar, an onslaught of missiles were launched upon the terrible bird but the beast paid no heed, advancing single minded towards the target its master had sent it to destroy. A squad of jets was deployed to do recon and launched an attack on the beast, but this failed to do anything ether. The monster soon descended on Tokyo, releasing its miniature copies on the people below, causing mass chaos. Finally, the monster attacked a skyscraper, the same one that Gen had been in earlier in the day. The creature attacked curiously, attempting to topple the structure, threatening to kill those inside it.

Eventually, Satan Mora's assault on the building inflicted enough damage for it to begin to collapse, threatening hundreds of people with immediate death; this was something Gen refused to allow, and he finally transformed into Ultraman Leo. Leo immediately began supporting the upper portion of the skyscraper to allow those inside to escape, but Satan Mora used this as an opportunity to attack Leo over and over again using its knife-like beak. Even though MAC had been destroyed by Silverbloome, humanity still found a way to assist Leo, as the JASDF sent in a squadron of fighter jets to distract Satan Mora, buying Leo and the civilians vital time. As Satan Mora shot the fighter jets out of the sky with its eye beams, more of the civilians escaped the Skyscraper, only for the giant bird to attack Leo yet again. Still, the Ultra refused to let go of the near-destroyed building until everyone inside had gotten to safety.

Finally, the last of the building's occupants had escaped, and Leo was able to let go of the structure as Satan Mora charged him, causing the bird to crash into it. The monster still refused to go down without a fight and fought on against the Ultra but ultimately, an Ultra Shooting Beam from Leo was all it took to shoot the flying terror down, causing it to crash and explode in a huge fireball. Enraged that his plan failed, Black Directive quickly called upon his second to last flying saucer beast, the bizarre balloon-like Nova.

Trivia

• The size of the Black Battleships in the anime TV show "Ultraman Ultra Den Geki" were similar to Satan Mora's size.
• Satan Mora is one of the monsters that makes up the back of Belyudra's body in Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie.
