Rui Takada is one of the main characters of Ultraman X. She is a member of Xio.
Personality[]
Rui has a very outgoing and radiant personality. She often dresses in a unique and distinctive style, which makes her stand out among the members of Xio.
She gets along well with members of the Lab Team such as Dr. Gourman, Mikazuki, and Daichi. She is also good friends with Asuna, who is the same age as her, and uses her innocent and carefree words and actions to ease the tense atmosphere on the front lines.
Furthermore, she has full trust in her Xio teammates whom she works with. She does not agree with the idea that only the strong can survive, and believes that having powerful strength does not necessarily guarantee victory. Even if life is fragile, it can continue in various ways, so she is unwilling to give up any possibilities.

Ultraman X[]
In the past, Rui was sent by her mother to study in the United States where she completed multiple innovative inventions. As a result, she caught the attention of Mikazuki and was invited to join Xio. Upon joining the team, she was assigned to Lab Team to work on the development of weapons and related research technologies.
She first appeared in episode 1 in a forest area along with Mamoru and Daichi to materialize Cyber Gomora but did not succeed. A Voice From the Starry Sky
Rui trapped on Planet Guillermo was rescued by Zero and X
During a mission to escort Spark Dolls, Rui and Xio Aramis were teleported to Planet Guillermo, a distant planet from Earth, due to an attack by the Alien Nackle Bandero. Rui was able to contact Xio through a radio signal that could be transmitted to the T-9C area in Japan. With the help of Ultraman Zero and Ultraman X, Rui was rescued safely. During this incident, Rui began to develop feelings for Zero. After the battle was over, the three took a photo together, and Rui returned to Earth with X, bidding farewell to Zero.When the Aegis Shines
When Greeza attacked the Xio base by heading straight to Japan from the western Pacific, she learned that the Daichi was Ultraman X's true identity.A Beautiful End
Rui worried about Asuna who ventured into cyberspace.
Afterward, she assisted Asuna in using the transmission system developed by Dr. Gourman, allowing the consciousness of Asuna to be sent into the cyberspace. However, Rui also expressed the risk of operation, as the connection must be immediately stopped when the electromagnetic wave is close to its critical point. Subsequently, she and Vice-Captain Tachibana escorted Asuna out of the base and continued to counterattack Greeza with Xio members.
When Asuna's brainwave was on the brink of danger, Rui once considered suspending the operation of the transmission system to protect Asuna. But with the miracle happening, Rui and other members finally witnessed Ultraman X's light once again merging with the Daichi.

After the incident with Greeza, abnormal electromagnetic waves were detected at the Barozu Ruins in the northeast of Japan. Xio was notified and dispatched personnel to investigate, but witnessed the revival of Zaigorg as a result.
When Tamaki arrived at the headquarters, she served as Yuuto's receptionist and together with other members of the Lab Team, attempted to repair the damaged X Devizer. Later, she and Dr. Gourman and Yuuto witnessed the Sparklence found in the ruins emitting light. At Dr. Gourman's request, she acted as an escort to transport Yuuto and X to the city.

As a researcher at Xio, Takada invented and participated in the development of the following devices:
- Cotton candy gun : A small gun that shoots cotton candy. When the trigger is pulled, instead of bullets, strawberry-flavored cotton candy is launched. Additionally, based on this invention, the Space Musketty is also equipped with an enhanced cotton candy beam.
