Snake King is a Kaiju that appeared in the TV series, Mirrorman.

History

Mirrorman

Snake King was sent by the Invaders to destroy the SGM base, first as a giant saucer before revealing his true form. He approached the base, emitting smoke and fire from its mouths that soon caused the base to explode. Snake King turned into his saucer form once more to fly off in victory. Shortly after the Invaders sent a flying saucer to announce their triumph and that humanity will lose against them while threatening Snake King's return to Tokyo in three hours unless they surrender. Snake King destroys a large bridge before waiting for orders in a canyon. Many fighter jets were sent to attack Snake King only for the monster to be enraged and to down them with his flames. Snake King was then sent to attack a Self Defense Force base once the three hours were up. The monster quickly erupted the base in flames, devastating it.

Kyotaro soon turned into Mirrorman to avenge SGM and fight Snake King. While the hero had the upper hand he was unable to use his beam weapons due to the energy time bomb implanted in him by the Invaders. During the fight Kyotaro's father. the original Mirrorman, exposed the bomb as a color timer to help his son. Mirrorman then used his Mirror Knife to decapitate a pair of heads off of Snake King followed by stomps and throws. Suddenly, a second monster emerged from the ground named Harigojira to attack the hero. Mirrorman was pinned to the ground while Snake King recovered. A mysterious red fighter appeared to stun Harigojira, allowing Mirrorman to focus on Snake King and throw two staked into his severed neck holes, finally killing him.

• Snake King is the first monster the eliminate the series' defense team. The second is Silverbloome.
• Its design motif is that of a King Cobra and Yamata no Orochi.
• Snake King has a reused Gango's roar.

Powers and Weapons

• Saucer Form: Can take the shape into a saucer-like form.
• Tornadoes: While in saucer form, it can create tornadoes by spinning above the ground.

• Electric Tail: When its tail is being grabbed, it can create an electric charge from its tail to shock its opponents.
