"Uh... Geed! Ultraman Geed!"
Ultraman Geed series. The synthetic son of the evil Reionics Ultra Warrior, Ultraman Belial, Geed was born at an unknown point after the Crisis Impact, and has spent most of his life on Earth unaware of his origins.
is the titular hero of hisConception[]
Etymology[]
Riku came up with the name himself, and is derived from his motto "Sitting around doing nothing will get us nowhere!
", though it is confirmed later in the series that his name comes from the words "Gene" and "Destiny", with the D and E in "Destiny" swapping places. His name could also be derived from the words "Gene" RE.M. 'germinated' his knowledge of his true self.
and "Seed" . The word "Gene" refers to the DNA of each Ultras respectively, contained within the Ultra Capsules. Alternatively, as the cloned son of Belial, he bears nearly identical genes to his father. For 'seed', this may refer to how Geed was grown from Belial's genetic material. In addition to this, Geed as Riku spent many years not knowing of his past, untilHistory[]
Ultra Fight Orb[]
Even before his conception, Geed's image was first seen by Reibatos as he receives the predictions of the future in his last moments. Ultra Fight Orb This illusion covers the identity of his murderer, Ultraman Belial, ironically the person Reibatos tried to revive with the last bit of his strength. The Symbol of Geed
Ultraman Geed[]
Discovering His Identity[]
In the past, Geed was created by Ultraman Belial and Kei Fukuide, essentially creating an artificial Ultra by growing Riku Asakura from Belial's genetic material.
19 years later, after a series of events that led to the young boy's adoption of his mantle as an Ultraman (to which he christens as "Ultraman Geed"), Belial and Kei put their long term plan into motion by having him fighting against monster attacks while harvesting the Ultra Capsules from Little Star hosts. Of course, Riku as well immediately learned of his true heritage as Belial's son from the Nebula House operator, RE.M. Welcome to the Secret Base . Regardless of the public opinion regarding Geed (either his similarity to Belial or the fact that his allegiance is still ambiguous), Riku decided to use his newfound power to protect humanity. Over time Riku gained, new forms from the Capsules he obtained and was joined by his father's nemesis; Ultraman Zero.[1]Salaryman Zero
During his first fight with Pedanium Zetton, Riku learned the true objective behind his birth and the theft of all but one capsule rendered him powerless until his encounter with Sui Asakura, the man who gave Riku his name. The Geed Identity This led to the acquirement of Father of Ultra's Capsule, using it with Zero's Capsule to transform into Geed Magnificent and renews his spirit by fighting against the fate that was already imposed to him, before regaining his stolen Capsules from the defeated Kei while also getting assistance from Zero. My Name
Facing His Fate[]
In the middle of a fight against Godo Wynn, Geed finally comes face-to-face with his father Belial. Even with Zero's help, Geed's effort to retaliate becomes fruitless and was kidnapped by Chimeraberus as Belial attempted to absorb/corrupt his own son until Laiha Toba and Ultraman King's intervention foiled his plan. Upon escape, Geed brought the conflict to Earth and used all of his available forms before seemingly defeating his father for good with Royal Megamaster. The First Day of the End of the World The King's Miracle! Time to Change Fate!! Despite defeating his father, Kei claimed to have inherited Belial's will, and therefore Geed would face monsters summoned from Kei's Kaiju Capsules or even face Kei directly as Belial Fusion Monsters. Inheritor of the Dream
Son VS Father[]
When Belial was revealed to be alive and transformed into Belial Atrocious, Geed faced his father again after Zero was almost defeated by Belial. However, Belial was able to overpower his son even in his Royal Megamaster form until Father of Ultra's arrival allowed him to retreat a while, but he eventually returned to fight Belial after Father of Ultra was getting overwhelmed.
Thanks to Geed's determination and courage, Ultraman King's power granted Geed a miracle, which allowed his five forms to appear at the same time and fight Belial together. Using their combined finisher, Geed Proof, Geed destroyed the Giga Battlenizer and reverted Belial back to his normal form, before flying himself and Belial into the other dimension opened by Zegun.
In a final clash, Riku and Belial fought in both body and spirit. While doing so, Belial's memories flowed into Riku, who understood his pain and suffering. Instead of continuing the fight, Riku had embraced Belial, expelling Belial from his soul while putting his grudges to rest, as Belial reverted back to his Early Style form. At last, Belial and Geed had a beam clash, though Geed's Wrecking Burst won and destroyed Belial's body, leaving his soul trapped in the other dimension. The Fragments of HopeThe Symbol of Geed
Ultraman Geed The Movie: Connect the Wishes![]
Geed first appears to battle Galactron MK2, who had chased Jugglus Juggler to Earth, but the robot easily trounced him and escaped. Galactron MK2 later reappeared and gave him, Ultraman Zero, and Ultraman Orb a tough battle and nearly defeated all three of them. With an unexpected attack, Geed was weakened and sent to cyberspace, and Orb had to rescue him using the power of Ultraman X's Gomora Armor, accessed via Orb Trinity. Immediately after that, Galactron MK2 unleashed a barrage of energy missiles that seemingly killed Zero and Orb. Blaming himself for their loss, Geed enters a berserk state and he finished off Galactron MK2 with a point-blank Wrecking Burst.
Later, the Galactron army descends and Riku refuses to transform, depressed from his previous battle. However, with encouragement from his friends and allies, the return of Zero and Orb and Airu Higa's last words, the young Ultra was able to overcome his doubts, allowing him to unlock the Giga Finalizer and transform into Ultimate Final. After destroying the remaining Galactrons, Geed alongside Zero and Orb arrive at Cyber Planet Kushia, facing Gillvalis in his Perfect Form. The Ultras finally ended the artificial intelligence's reign with Geed delivering the finishing blow. Ultraman Geed The Movie: Connect the Wishes!

Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond[]
Geed first appears fighting Bemstar and Gan-Q, alongside Ultraman Rosso and Ultraman Blu, and finishing both Kaiju while saving an imprisoned Pega. When Snake Darkness begun to wreak havoc on Ayaka City, Geed battled it with Blu and Grigio Regina but was easily defeated after a short battle.
During the final battle, Geed joined forces with the Minato siblings, who become Ultraman Ruebe and Grigio Regina against Snake Darkness. However when Ultraman Tregear appeared backing up Snake Darkness, knocking back everyone else and even Geed as Royal Megamaster, and everyone was easily overpowered despite Ultrawoman Grigio’s appearance. Refusing to give up, Riku assumed Ultimate Final once more and joined the Minato siblings, who fused into Ultraman Gruebe and eventually fought their opponents on even terms. Finally, Geed defeated Tregear with the Wrecking Nova. Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond
Ultra Galaxy Fight: New Generation Heroes[]
On Planet Sundowin, Ultraman X and Ultraman Geed fight a losing battle against Ultraman X Darkness and Ultraman Geed Darkness, who were created by Ultra Dark-Killer using their stolen power of light. After their dark clones left, Dark Lugiel showed up and wanted to finish them off, but he was interrupted by Ultraman Ginga. X and Geed fired their rays at Dark Lugiel, buying them time to regroup with the other New Generation Heroes at the Land of Light. When everyone was gathered, they had a group talk to discuss what had happened to them.
Ultra Dark-Killer uses a projection to inform the New Generation Heroes that Ultraman Zero and Ultrawoman Grigio are being held in the Dark-Killer Zone on Planet Tenebris, and to come and face him if they want to rescue their comrades. Upon arriving, X, Orb and Geed face off against their respective Darkness copies, but are unable to defeat them. Remembering the battles they fought alongside Zero, Geed changes to Magnificent and defeats Geed Darkness using the Big Bustaway.
However, Ultraman Tregear revives Ultra Dark-Killer and Ultraman Zero Darkness, the former growing to gigantic size due to his overflowing power. To help Zero defeat his Darkness copy, Geed uses the energy of Ginga, Victory, X and Orb to transform Zero into Zero Beyond. They then transform into their strongest forms to battle Ultra Dark-Killer, with Geed changing into Ultimate Final. After the New Generation Heroes assault Dark-Killer, Taro arrives and advises them to lend their power to the Strium Brace. Upon doing so, Ginga performs the New Generation Dynamite and destroys Dark-Killer and the Dark Palace. The New Generation Heroes and Zero regroup, but were confronted by Ultraman Tregear, who admits he was the mastermind behind these events. The New Generation Heroes decide to go after Tregear. Ultraman Taiga[]
The New Generation Heroes faced off against Tregear near the Land of Light, but were defeated easily. When the Tri-Squad arrived, Geed and X gave Ultraman Titas their lights as a gift, which manifested in the form of Bracelet-type Ultra Taiga Accessories. Buddy Go!
Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax[]
After Tregear was defeated by Ultraman Taiga, a part of Grimdo escaped from his body. The New Generation Heroes tracked down Grimdo in space and sealed it away in a crystal, at the cost of their Ultraman powers. In their human forms they descended to Earth to protect Hiroyuki Kudo from the approaching Grimdo. Once Riku regained his powers from the Geed-let, the New Generation Heroes face off against Tregear, the Grimdo-possessed Taro and Tregear's monsters, with Geed fighting against Gigadelos. After their opponents receive power ups from Grimdo, Geed transforms into Ultimate Final to finish off Night Fang. Initially being trounced by Grimdo after it had absorbed Tregear, the New Generation Heroes fused with Taiga into Ultraman Reiga and defeat Grimdo. The New Generation Heroes give their parting words to the Tri-Squad and Hiroyuki and return to their home worlds. Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax
Ultraman Z[]
When Gillvalis revived due to a Devil Splinter and attacked Planet Ain , Geed went to deal with the robot but was knocked down before he could change into Ultimate Final, with the Riser being broken in the process. Pega appears and hands Riku the Z Riser and Ultra Medals he received from Ultraman Hikari, allowing Riku to transform into Ultraman Geed Galaxy Rising and pursue Gillvalis to Earth. In his new form, Geed managed to defeat Gillvalis, who had attacked Sevenger and Windom during a STORAGE training drill. The core still survived and flew off, but Geed lost track of it. Later on, Gillvalis was lured to a factory area and transformed once more, but was imperfect due to the damage to its core. Geed cooperated with Ultraman Z, who told Haruki Natsukawa about Geed being another student of Zero's and the one who destroyed Belial, and STORAGE to finally finish off Gillvalis, and stayed on Earth to continue investigating the Devil Splinters. The Man Returns!
Later on, Shinya Kaburagi/Celebro took control of the Valis Raiders through Gillvalis' remains and had Riku abducted to extract the Belial Factor from him, which he used to successfully create the Belial Medal. Unexpectedly, Juggler came to Riku's rescue and freed him from his restraints, and told the boy not to tell the others about him. Celebro then used the Belial Medal to transform into the Belial Fusion Monsters Skull Gomora, Thunder Killer and Pedanium Zetton. Z and Geed attempted to fight them off, but were being overwhelmed by their power until Ultraman Zero reappeared, helping them win the battle against Celebro. After the battle, Pega had arrived in the Nebula House to pick Riku up. Because of other cases of monsters rampaging due to the Devil Splinters, Zero and Riku left the Earth in Haruki and Z's care while they flew off into space. His Majesty's Medal
Geed returned to help Z fight against Greeza when he detected void waves in Z's universe, which came about due to Bullton's defeat. Despite being backed up by Tri-King/Five King, the three of them were overwhelmed by Greeza's power. Geed decided to give Z his Ultra Medal, telling Z and Haruki to use it in case anything happened to him, and told them that a space needle that lied beyond the void was needed to sew the universe back together and defeat Greeza. After doing so, Geed allowed himself to be absorbed into Greeza to seal it between reality and unreality. Within the void, Geed encountered the space needle, which pricked him and took a sample of his Belial Factor. Geed was slowly being consumed by the void and by that night, Greeza had fused with him enough to become active again and gained the use of Wrecking Burst. Fortunately, Z arrived in his new form, Delta Rise Claw, which had the power to withstand getting absorbed by Greeza. Z managed to free Geed from the void and pull out the Beliarok, which was the proverbial "needle" that was required to sew the hole in space and destroy Greeza. After a brief fight, Z and Haruki managed to convince the Beliarok to fight along side them and finished off Greeza with the Deathcium Slash. After the battle, Geed gave his three Ultra Medals to Haruki, since Ultraman Hikari had repaired his old Riser, and then flew off. A Warrior's Duty
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad[]
Following his departure from Z's Earth, Geed returned to his task of tracking down the Devil Splinters. In his hunt for them, Geed, Ultraman X and Ultraman Titas encountered the remains of the Belial Galactic Empire, where a platoon of Darklops and Legionoid robots had reactivated. The three of them were becoming overwhelmed with the number of opponents, before Ultraman Z arrived to even the odds, returning the Ultra Medals Geed had left him so he could regain his Galaxy Rising form. The four Ultras, with the additional help of Z's Gamma Illusion clones of Tiga, Dyna and Gaia, took down the remaining foes and retrieved the Devil Splinter that had awoken them, before heading to assist their comrades in the ongoing battle against The Kingdom.
The New Generation Heroes regroup in the Monster Graveyard, where Absolute Tartarus, Alien Bat, Reibatos, Ultrawoman Grigio Darkness and Gina Spectre were attacking Ultrawoman Grigio, Ultraman Zearth, Ultraman Nice and Ultraman Boy to take the Devil Splinter they found there. Geed and Z transforms into Royal Megamaster Z and Delta Rise Claw to fight against Gina, but the Beliarok goes to Geed instead because he has a "familiar scent" and also because Haruki is not with them. However, Tartarus uses the gathered Devil Splinters to empower Reibatos, who recreates the Giga Battlenizer, and fuses Gina with the souls of her brothers to create Gua Spectre before he dies of an overdose. Gua Spectre's new perfect form proved to be too powerful, forcing the New Generation Heroes to fuse into Ultraman Reiga, who easily defeats Gua before defusing into his components. Just after the battle, Geed and Taiga are struck by Belial and Tregear who retreat shortly after, stealing the Beliarok from Z in the process.
After the successful rescue of Yullian, a large-scale battle had broken out on Planet Blizzard. Geed and Z arrived to aid in the fight, specifically going after Belial. After Beliarok had grown bored of Belial and returned to Z, granting him an empowered form that downed the foe, Geed tried to reconcile with the alternate version of his father, knowing there was still good within him. Belial rejected the notion, telling him that he was not the version of Belial that created a son so he had no connection to him, before simply walking away from the battlefield.
At the climax of the battle, Tartarus was overwhelmed by Zero with his new abilities. He decided to unleash his Absolute Maximum Destruction on the planet, but it was blocked by a barrier from Ultraman King, creating a wormhole from the impact. Ultraman Ribut created his own barrier to protect the other Ultras present, but he and Tartarus fell through the wormhole and into Ultraman Trigger's universe as a result. While still young and inexperienced, Geed is notable for possessing potent fighting instincts, his skill in battle grows at a quick enough pace that he could take on much greater opponents in Primitive form, even those that easily trounced more experienced Ultras and even himself in Primitive form. He was eventually able to overpower his father, Belial, in Primitive form, and was stated by King to have 'infinite potential'.

Transformation[]
Riku first activates a pair of Ultra Capsules, causing apparitions of the Ultras to appear as he inserts them into the Loading Knuckle. After scanning both Capsules, Riku says his signature catchphrase depending on his Fusion Rise, while bringing his right arm out before swinging it counterclockwise until it points up. Then he raises the Riser before bringing it back down to his chest, and pressing the trigger of Riser, causing his body to transform into his Ultra form, soon being covered in light and the face of Ultraman Belial Early Style. He forgoes most of these when transforming into his Royal Megamaster and Ultimate Final forms.
"You go! I go! Here we go! Time to get ready! Geed!"

After scanning both capsules, Riku presses the trigger of Geed Riser then his body transforms into his Ultra form. During the rise sequence, the background first appears to resemble Ultraman's rising scene (A red background with white flashes) then Belial's eyes appear briefly before changing to a purple background. As he moves closer, the background changes yet again into spiraling light blue and dark red energy.
Riku scans the Ultra Capsules of Ultraman followed by Belial in real life followed by inserting and loading both capsules into the Riser. After that, Riku transforms into Geed.

Unlike most Fusion Rise sequences, scanning the Capsules of both Belial and King brings forth the King Sword. After inserting the King Capsule into the King Sword, Riku slides his hand across the King Sword and morphs into the image of Belial's Early Style after absorbing Belial and King's manifestations. He then jumps up and starts the rise scene, in which, the background starts out as a mass of maroon and purple clouds, then Belial's eyes appear briefly before the background explodes into an array of golden sparkles on a silver background. Finally, a spiral of dark red energy and light blue light bordered by golden sparkle-like energy appears.

He then inserts the medals into the Riser and scans the medals by sliding the blade, which make images of the medals appear behind him, which turn into projections of the Ultra in a flash of light. He then puts the Riser against his chest in a similar manner to his Fusion Rise transformations and presses the trigger. Projections of the three Ultras fly past Riku and cyclones appear and transform into Ultraman and Belial and combine with Riku as he is transformed into his original form. The rise starts with a dark purple background and Belial's eyes appear for a split second. It will then cut to a background of intersecting galaxies similar to Ginga's rise, a digital background with sparks forming an X similar to X's rise, an inward ring of light from Orb Origin's rise, and finally a red and blue spiraling energy background similar to Geed Primitive's rise. Combinations[]
Like Orb, the Ultras used in each of Geed's forms share something in common with each other.
- Fusion Rise (Live-Action)
- Ultraman + Ultraman Belial = Primitive: Both Ultras are infamous for their hunching positions and were initially planned to have mouth-opening mechanisms before they were scrapped. Aside from that, the Another Genesis counterparts of Belial is suspected by the readers to have possessed Ultraman. Prior to Belial's conception, the original plan for Ultraman is to be the final antagonist in the final episode of Ultra Q. As the term "Primitive" suggests, it also refers to how these Ultras are the first in the following aspects:
- Ultraman is the first Ultra to arrive and fight monsters on Earth. He is also the first to be created, hence some of the later Ultras who end up borrowing his archetype.
- Belial is the first Ultra from the Land of Light to defect to the side of evil. Unlike many evil Ultras, he is the first one to live on and continue to antagonize every heroic Ultra afterwards.
- Ultraseven + Ultraman Leo = Solid Burning: Following his arrival on Earth, Leo was mentored by Seven during his missions. Both are also the most important Ultras in Zero's life. Seven being his dad. Leo being his mentor. Both of their series also focused on a serious and horrifying genre where they each entered a state of dilemma.
- Seven: He kept wondering if the human race was worth protecting due to witnessing their ugly sides (bombing of Pegassa City, Planet Gyeron, Nonmalt City, etc.).
- Leo: He faced the tragedy of losing his family and friends, as his home world was destroyed by Alien Magma and later on lost his friends and MAC members to Silverbloome's attack.
- Ultraman Cosmos + Ultraman Hikari = Acro Smasher: Both are blue-colored Ultras who experienced remorse from a dead planet and spent their time chasing the masterminds of their respective series to Earth before they took on a human host. As part of the blue tribe, both Ultras are proficient in strategies and the use of speed in combat.
- Ultraman Zero + Father of Ultra = Magnificent: Both Ultras are related as Belial's bitter enemies and are among the strongest warriors in existence. The actor for Zero's current human host nominated Father as his favorite character from his childhood. They are also key members of a peacekeeping organization.
- Father: Top Commander of the Inter Galactic Defense Force.
- Zero: Founder of the Ultimate Force Zero.
- Ultraman King + Ultraman Belial = Royal Megamaster: At least according to a certain source, Belial is actually terrified of King as he was the only one capable of defeating him during the Revolt of Belial. King and Belial are both Ultra Warriors with an association to leading figures (the former's appearance is themed after European rulers, while the latter had become a ruler (king and emperor) on two occasions), as well as among the few genuine Ultras to have red/orange eyes as their natural coloration. Whereas King is capable of observing the multiverse, Belial was known to have traveled through different universes at one point to spread his influence.
- Fusion Rise (Game-Exclusive)
- Ultraman + Ultraman Zero = Shining Mystic: Both Ultras had to, at least once, depend on the power of Baraji to defeat an otherwise unbeatable opponent. Ultraman Zero himself likes comparing things to 20,000 years in his speech, which is the same age as the original Ultraman. Also worth noting is that the actor for Ultraman's human host mentioned that his favorite Ultraman is Zero.
- Ultraman Belial + Ultraman Orb = Tri-Slugger: Both Ultras are estranged from their former partners and briefly lost their personal weapons for an unspecified period of time. In their first appearance, their color schemes are red and silver, and later an additional color in black as a result of their actions. They had also used the power of an opposing side for their own.
- Belial: Possessed and exploited Zero's power to assassinate the latter's own team.
- Orb: Possessed Belial's Ultra Fusion Card, allowing him to use his dark power for the side of good along with Zoffy's card to form Thunder Breastar.
- Ultraman Tiga + Ultraman Zero = Mugen Crosser: Both Ultras redeemed themselves for a past atrocity (Tiga was once an evil Ultra as Tiga Dark, while Zero tried to harness the Plasma Spark) and once turned evil from their masterminds. They lack a fixed human host (meaning they merged with more than one human), and resurrected from being defeated by a Dai Kaiju (Gatanothor and Arch Belial) through human hopes, which they utilized in their strongest forms (Glitter Tiga and Ultimate Zero) to destroy said monsters. They are also Ultras that debuted in a revival hiatus for the Ultraman Series and gained alternate forms.
- Tiga: Acquired Type Change forms by absorbing Darramb and Hudra's powers.
- Zero: Acquired Mode Change forms after his fusion with Dyna and Cosmos.
- Ultraman Mebius + Ultraman Orb = Brave Challenger: The first King Demon Beast that Orb ever fought in Spacium Zeperion was Maga-Basser whom was sealed away by Mebius, its defeat allowed Orb to obtain Mebius' Ultra Fusion Card and is used as one of the components to form Burnmite. Both Mirai and Gai received their names from their experiences on Earth, and were fond of humanity and the planet's culture.
- By taking Spacium Zeperion into consideration, all 4 components (Ultraman Orb Spacium Zeperion being made up of Ultraman and Ultraman Tiga) are important milestones to the Ultraman Series, with Ultraman being the first Ultra to appear, over 50 years ago, Tiga's series being made during the series' 30th anniversary, Mebius' during the 40th, and Orb's during the 50th. Additionally, Geed was run through 2017, Ultraseven's 50th anniversary. In-series, they have all borrowed the power of bonds at least once throughout their appearances and attained a new form because of it.
- Zoffy + Ultraman Mebius = Fire Leader: Zoffy himself is partially responsible for the setting of Mebius' series, such as the foundation of GUYS and Hikari's recruitment into the Inter Galactic Defense Force. Discounting the events of Mebius Gaidens, Zoffy is the founding member of the Ultra Brothers while Mebius is the final addition to the group after his battle with Alien Empera. Ironically, this form also represents to how both Ultras had died from their respective monsters' nature elements:
- Ultraman Leo + Astra = Le-Over Fist: Both share the same debut series and were royal princes of Planet L77 prior to its destruction. Aside from sharing the same attack, they are also twin brothers but Astra's differences is a result of a facial reconstruction he received due to mutilations he suffered sometime after his homeworld's destruction. Both as well received assistance from Ultraman King during their time in the series and in turn supported him during later occasions.
- Leo: Obtains his Ultra Mantle and was revived after his dismemberment by Alien Bunyo.
- Astra: Was rescued from the clutches of Alien Magma, receive his facial reconstruction and had his reputation cleared after being framed by Alien Babarue on Earth.
- Ultraman Dyna + Ultraman Cosmos = Mighty Trekker: Both Ultra Warriors appeared as supporting characters in Ultraman Saga and Ultraman Orb THE ORIGIN SAGA, the former involved being two of the components of the titular Ultra and indirectly bestowed Ultraman Zero with Mode Change abilities. In their original series, their human hosts are portrayed as rookie members of the defense team, recruited at the same day of their merger with their respective Ultras. They spent the entire series fighting against villains with the ability to create and/or infect monsters to their bidding, all while maturing as part of their character development. At the end of their series/movies, they retained their connection with Ultra Warriors and as the word "Trekker" (Interpreted as "Travellers") suggests, it mirrors to how both of their human hosts are living outside the Earth.
- Asuka: Traveled the multiverse after the battle with Gran-Sphere sucked him into a wormhole.
- Musashi: Settled his life with a family in Planet Juran as he watched over the migrated monsters from Earth.
- Ultraman Gaia + Ultraman Hikari = Photon Knight: Gaia's host (Gamu Takayama) and Hikari are scientists that have major contributions/achievements (Gamu obtains a doctorate in quantum physics and Hikari created a life preserving device). At the start of their career as Ultra Warriors, they possess little to no combat capabilities until they improved over time. They also gain an upgrade to their forms, both of which involve obtaining the ability to emit energy swords. They are the only two Ultras that possess a beam where they fire with their horizontal arm in front of the vertical arm.
- Gaia: Acquires the light of Agul, enabling him to access Gaia V2 and Gaia Supreme.
- Hikari: Acquires the Knight Brace, allowing him to utilize Knight Shoot and Knight Beam Blade.
- Father of Ultra + Ultraman Belial = Dandit Truth: Both were elite warriors of the Inter Galactic Defense Force before the events of Revolt of Belial. They were once friends who participated in the Ultimate Wars, an event which also lay major influences in their lives. They are also fathers to a main character Ultra.
- Ultraman Nexus + Ultimate Zero = Noactive Succeed: Nexus' strongest form, Noa, is responsible for the creation of the Ultimate Aegis and Zero's revival and victory against Arch Belial. Zero himself is the first Ultra to receive his power from Nexus or any of his incarnations. Aside from that, they fought against dark Ultra warriors who had similarities to them.
- Ultraman Nexus/Noa battled Dark Zagi, a manufactured clone of Noa, when the latter went wild and sought for destruction after learning he is a mere clone.
- Ultraman Zero and Belial had similar origins, having touched the Plasma Spark and leading to their banishment from the Land of Light. While Belial became a force of evil throughout the multiverse, Zero became a hero of light.
- Ultra Fusion
- Ultraman Ginga + Ultraman X + Ultraman Orb = Galaxy Rising: They are the first three primary New Generation Heroes that came before Geed. At the start of their debut, they are already experienced fighters and had involved in a conflict which lead to their title series' plot itself.
- Ultraman Jack + Ultraman Cosmos + Ultraman Nexus = Tetrite Cross: They are all associated with the number four. Jack is the fourth member of the Ultra Brothers, Cosmos is the fourth entry of the Heisei era Ultraman Series, while Nexus premiered in 2004. In addition, each have associations with defensive abilities; Jack's two forms of Ultra Barriers and Ultra Defender, Cosmos' passive way of fighting with Tai Chi and Nexus' use of Meta Field to protect outside forces.
Comparisons to Ultraman Orb[]
It is worth noting that Geed's series adopted many of elements from Ultraman Orb, thus making both Ultras have either similarities to or differences from each other.
- Similarities
- Their alter-egos are portrayed as aliens who had lived alongside humanity for years (Gai has been on Earth since 1800 BC, while Riku was raised on Earth since he was a baby).
- Both Gai and Riku have earthly desires.
- Gai has a great fondness of hot spring bathing, even claiming they are the best luxury in Earth, but gets annoyed and irritated when others show poor hot spring manners.
- Riku loves the "Don Shine" tokusatsu series so much that he bought DVDs and rare collectibles of him. His pre-battle catchphrase was also inspired by Don Shine.
- Both share the same eye coloration (light blue), but turn red as a result of Belial's influence (Orb uses Thunder Breastar (a Fusion Up with Belial's card), while Geed almost fell into his father's corruption).
- Their actors are both experienced in the acting field, compared to the rest of the New Generation Heroes before them.
- Both utilize form changes by combining two different Ultras and harness their powers. Including game-exclusive forms, 9 Ultra Warriors (Ultraman, Father of Ultra, Leo, Cosmos, Mebius, Hikari, Zero, Belial, Orb) have been used in more than one combination.
- Of these Ultra Warriors, Zero and Belial has the most combinations with 4, while the others have 2.
- Their fusion forms are parallel to each other, but with different components.
- Primitive/Spacium Zeperion: The standard forms Orb and Geed use that are the most well balanced. Both use the original Ultraman as one of their components, while their respective other component is an Ultra from a distant past who had tapped into the power of darkness and performed some sort of treason against their own kind.
- Solid Burning/Burnmite: The red-colored strength forms who both use a teacher and student pair as their components (Taro to Mebius for Burnmite and Seven to Leo for Solid Burning). Both also have the word "burn" in their respective form name and pre-battle catchphrase ("I'm burning in crimson red!" for Burnmite and "Time for my courage to burn bright!" for Solid Burning), as well as the use of elemental power fire in their attacks.
- Acro Smasher/Hurricane Slash: The blue-colored speed forms who both use weapons that are either from or based off an Ultra in their respective fusion (Jack/Zero's Ultra Lance for Hurricane Slash and Hikari's Knight Beam Blade for Acro Smasher). The first components are members of the Ultra Brothers while the other are also involved as 2/3 components of a Super Ultraman.
- Magnificent/Thunder Breastar: Both are considered one of their respective Ultra's strongest forms. After Orb lost his Ultra Fusion Cards and Geed lost his Ultra Capsules, they had to use the last items they obtained (Zoffy and Belial Cards and Father of Ultra Capsule). Upon gaining these forms, they fought a monster in which they ultimately won the battle. They've also fought a fusion monster whose components are a Zetton and a monster from Ultraseven (Zeppandon for Orb and Pedanium Zetton for Geed). Each of these forms portray some sort of contradiction to their respective Ultra's nature.
- Thunder Breastar: One of its components (Belial) is a dark Ultra, which is a contrast to Orb, who is a representation of light.
- Magnificent: Both of its components (Father of Ultra and Zero) are the sworn enemies of Geed's father Belial (a fact that is acknowledged in episode 17).
- Royal Megamaster
- Orb Origin: Prior to obtaining these forms, both went through an inner dilemma which took the help of a female protagonist to get them back. Said women also provided the Ultra the final key to access these forms (Orb Origin Card and King Capsule), and then after their respective first usages the entire population eventually started to acknowledge them as true heroes.
- Orb Trinity: Though both are different with their components, Royal Megamaster uses the powers of the Ultra Brothers via their capsules while Orb Trinity summons the power of his predecessors. Both also wield a device based on one of their components (Orb Slasher and King Sword) as their transformation item, as well as their main weapon.
- Ultimate Final
- Orb Origin: Both are their respective Ultra's true or last form, as well as having their designs being based on other Ultras (Orb's design resembles the classic Ultraman's design because of simplicity, while Geed's design is closer to the modern Ultramen as being complex). Both also wield a weapon that doubles as their transformation item.
- Orb Trinity: Though both are different types of forms, Ultimate Final's powers was created with the encouragement from Riku's friends and allies, thus created the Evolution Capsule whereas Orb Trinity's powers was created through the hopes of the SSP, thus created Ginga, Victory and X Ultra Fusion Cards.
- Both Gai and Riku gain their transformation collectibles by similar means.
- Gai would fight the King Demon Beasts who inside them held the suppressed power of their respective Ultra Warrior who kept them at bay.
- Riku would attain his Capsule when being prayed on by those who had them, in mid-battle.
- Differences
- Despite their story lines following the development of their characters, each have different paths:
- Orb is a war veteran who lacks faith in himself and his own power. As the series progressed, he becomes determined to trust his strength, allowing him to regain Orb Origin.
- Geed is portrayed as a youth who is new to the world of an Ultra Warrior. As he fights against his father, he decides to face against the path set upon him, emphasizing his growth into an adult.
- Both have weapons that are tied to their original powers (by disregarding influences from fusion forms). Whereas Orb's Orb Calibur is only exclusive to Orb Origin, Geed can use his Geed Claw in any form.
- The weapons used in their original forms as well have different origins: the Orb Calibur was already linked with Orb's power from the start and requires the chosen one to obtain it whereas the Giga Finalizer was created by an alien race before its intended user (Geed) existed.
- In almost every episode, Orb would use certain fusions whenever the battle calls for it, or he would stick to one fusion for an episode. On the other hand, Geed always transforms into Primitive before switching because he was losing ground. The only time Geed did not turn into Primitive was episode 12 where he had lost his capsules. The reasoning for always defaulting into Primitive is unknown.
- Gai and Riku gain their Cards/Capsules during their battles, but:
- Gai defeated King Demon Beasts and then attains Ultra Fusion Cards by extracting their essence upon destruction.
- Riku on the other hand has be given the power (some of the hosts of the Ultras' power can be children, adults, aliens, or even Kaiju). Unlike Gai before him, it's random individual who has a Little Star.
- Whereas Orb grows in strength against succeeding enemies due to the use of past Ultra powers and training, Geed is already stronger (as stated by King, he possess "infinite potential") and the Giga Finalizer serve as the final push to draw his inner ability to the greatest extent.

Trivia[]
- Geed is:
- The second Ultra to combine the powers of two past Ultras' to create his own forms, the first being Orb.
- The first Ultra appearing to have visible irises; when under Belial's control in episode 17 of Ultraman Geed, he has fainter red circles in his bright red eyes which appear to be irises.
- The first Ultra since Ginga to not have a Color Timer themed after an English letter.
- The second Ultra to have a natural collar in Ultimate Final form, after Gingavictory.
- Geed's name was written as "Xead" before the reveal.
- A recurring joke at Geed's expense is for certain people to be terrified or giving bad remarks over his eye designs (partly due to its resemblance to Belial's). Other than the inhabitants of World of Side Space, this term also applies to anyone outside of his home universe, with Yuka Ohta in particular calling him "the nasty-eyed Ultraman" .
- Geed's Color Timer sound is a reused Belial Early Style Color Timer sound and with some of Ultraman's Color Timer sound in it.
- At the age of only nineteen, Geed is the second youngest protagonist Ultra to appear in the series thus far. This is especially unusual, as while Geed appears to be an adult, most Ultras reach the age of adulthood after being alive for several millennia. As explained in episode 11 of his debut series, this is because Geed was artificially created by Kei through the use of Belial's DNA.
- His Magnificent and Royal Megamaster forms also make him the youngest Ultra to possess facial hair, a trait they normally don't acquire until they're 40,000 years old.
- Geed's grunts in Primitive form are mixed with Belial's grunts.
- One of Geed's Fusion Rise, Solid Burning, is rather interesting as his and Zero's roles in the series reflect those of Leo and Seven respectively from Ultraman Leo. The fact that he transforms into Royal Megamaster is an allusion of how Leo gains the Ultra Mantle from the same Ultra.
- Ironically, some of the Solid Burning form's sound effects are re-used from Alien Magma's when using his special ability (For example, when he was performing the Boost Punch for the first time, Alien Magma's roar can be heard). What's also strange, is that Alien Magma is both Leo's and Seven's enemies in Leo's series.
- Solid Burning was initially going to share similar traits to Windom.
- In an interesting coincidence, their voice cast shares the same voice actor in one media.
- While transforming or changing his Fusion Rise forms, the sound background plays an Ultraman Series intro music (Excluding Royal Megamaster) from each Ultras respectively, with all being renewed or remixed.
- Alongside Riku, Geed's DNA is in fact 99% identical to Belial by RE.M. However, he displays no indication of being a Reionics and may not even be one.
- In a 2017 stage show, Geed was tricked by an Alien Bat into using a red and gold Neo Battlenizer to summon Armored Darkness, under the impression that it was a Little Star collection device. This was because he had Belial's genes, and hence had Reionics powers by extension. While Armored Darkness was initially under Alien Bat's control, Geed managed to control it eventually, albeit temporarily.[16]
- The initial design for Geed Primitive was recycled into Belial Atrocious.[17][18]
- His finisher Geed Proof's name is based on the names of the series' opening theme song and the title of the episode it was used in.
- During the design process of Royal Megamaster, the suit was supposed to be covered in golden armor, however, it was simplified because of the immobility of the suit, though it still retained elements of Ultraman King's traits. Masayuki Goto, who was put in charge of the design, stated that he also had a hard time to put the mantle in a good shape. Additionally, the beard would also cover his front jaw. However, because of Riku's age, it did not match with his traits.[19] He also stated that he was not meant to have such a crest, but the director wanted it as it looked like a regent hairstyle.[20]
