History[]

Dinosaur Expedition Born Free[]

The Triceratops was discovered by a gold prospector at the foot of Mount Greenid. The Born Free quickly headed out to capture it, while the poachers offered the gold prospector money in exchange for him leading them to the Triceratops, he agreed to the offer, and the poachers were the first to locate the animal. The Triceratops immediately attacked them, but after it was shot at, it retreated to its cave. The poachers thought they had it, but then the Born Free intervened. After taking care of the poachers, the Born Free managed to lure the Triceratops out of its cave, only for it to immediately hide again after getting shot with anesthetics, that's when an earthquake happened, and to make things worse, a nearby volcano started erupting. The cave could collapse and crush the Triceratops at any moment, but the Triceratops chose to stay in it. The Born Free realized that the Triceratops doesn't want to leave cause it has an egg to protect. They lured it out once again with loud noises, and one of them entered the cave to retrieve the egg. Seeing its egg getting stolen, the Triceratops chased the member when the anesthetics kicked in and it fell asleep, just when the erupting volcano started spewing lava and a flaming river started coming it's way. Seeing no better option, the Born Free used their vehicle to push the Triceratops out of the way, but because of the earthquake, their road collapsed, and the Triceratops fell after securing the egg, the Born Free immediately went to check to herbivore's condition, and surprisingly it was mostly fine. It was quickly relocated to the Island of Sarlon, where it would live peacefully as the Born Free made sure the egg would hatch. Protect the Triceratops Egg!

Sometime later, the Triceratop's egg hatched and the hatchling was given back to its parent. Trachodon Tears

Another Triceratops was attacked by poachers, collapsing to the ground after getting shot at, the poachers thought they had it, but with one final bit of strength, the Triceratops got up and charged at them again, managing to push them off a cliff. After that, it was later found by the Born Free, laying on the ground, nearly dead. The Born Free tended to its wounds and transported it to the Island of Sarlon, where it recovered. Suspecting there may be more Triceratopses around, the Born Free continued searching, and one of them found a nest with only one egg still intact. The egg hatched the next day, and the Born Free took care of the hatchling. Two of them stayed to look after it while others continued searching. They were attacked by poachers, which were then attacked by a Pteranodon. After the poachers escaped, the flying reptile switched its attention to the Triceratops hatchling, but it was scared away by the Born Free helicopter. Save the Baby Dinosaur!

The Born Free continued to look after the baby Triceratops and even named it Horn-Horn. Meanwhile, their efforts to track down its mother continued, who was the one to find them when they were attacked by the poachers, as she was looking for her child. The poachers fired at the female but determined to save her young, she savagely fought and forced them to retreat, then immediately attacked the Born Free. After nearly tipping their vehicle over, she left, but the Born Free chose not to follow as they assumed it would double back on them soon. The poachers foolishly tried to chase the herbivore, and as the Born Free predicted, the Triceratops' mother turned around and charged into them at full speed. After they escaped, she continued to fight the Born Free, who chose to tire her out instead of using anesthetics after getting tired from running all over the place, the mother Triceratops started slowing down; the Born Free decided to tire her out even more and fired an anchor at her horns and dragged her in the opposite direction to which she was going after the rope holding the anchor snapped, the Triceratops fell to the ground from sheer exhaustion; after capturing the attacking Pteranodon, the mother Triceratops reunited with her child on the Island of Sarlon. A family of Triceratopses was briefly seen inside the dinosaur paradise. Mysterious Dinosaur Ezosaurus

The first Triceratops seen was living peacefully inside the reserve when a Tyrannosaurus broke through the fence separating the carnivorous dinosaurs from the herbivores. The predator tried to go for the easy kill and eat her young, but the mother Triceratops fought bravely and injured the predator with her horns, forcing it to run away. The mother was also injured, but the Born Free took care of her, and she got to perfect condition in no time. The Reserve
