Kageboshi (黒い影法師 - Kuroi kagebōshi,) also known as "Black Silhouette" is an entity that appeared in the film, Great Decisive Battle! The Super 8 Ultra Brothers.

Powers/AbilitiesEdit

• Negative Energy: By feeding off negative emtions, Kageboshi can create monsters, merge them together, and can launch a small, purple-colored fireballs from their hands that can render an opponent unconscious.
• Fusion: Kageboshi can merge together to increase in size.

HistoryEdit

Kageboshi are entities of pure negative energy created by such emotions as fear, malice, and despair. When humanity had forgotten on their dreams, the Kageboshi used their negative emotions to create Super Alien Hipporito as their enforcer to amplify the negative emotions into humanity even further. After imprisoning Ultraman Mebius into a statue of Bronze, Super Alien Hipporito appeared before humanity and presented to them the defeat of Mebius to further amplify their negative emotions, making the Kageboshi grow more powerful and numerous in numbers.

Once Super Alien Hipporito and his monsters where destroyed by Ultramen: Tiga, Dyna, and Gaia, the Kageboshi revived all of Hipporito's monsters and combined them together to form the Giga Chimera. But the combined monsters were ultimately defeated by the three ultras, as well as Ultraman, Seven, Jack, Ace, and Mebius. Upon the destruction of their combined monster, the numerous Kageboshi combined to form a Giant form of itself, warning the Ultra Brothers that they shall create more monsters to draw more fear from the people. Its threat however was not taken greatly by the brothers, who told it that so long as people believed in good it was powerless to stop them, and Kageboshi was destroyed by the Brothers's combined attacks.
