Sato is a character that appeared in Ultraman Gaia. He is a student at Jonan University and Gamu Takayama's best friend.
Personality[]
Sato has a fairly cheerful and occasionally somewhat childish side. As a current university student, he actively participates in social interactions and gets along well with his classmates. He is also quite loyal to his friends, and in the series, he actively assists Gamu in the role of a civilian.
However, he has a more devoted side when it comes to love. He often develops romantic feelings for women he has never met before, and because of this, he often gets into trouble.

Ultraman Gaia[]
Sato comes from Shiroiwa Town, where he is the eldest son of a family that runs a hot spring. He has a younger brother named Takashi and a younger sister named Kaori. After passing the entrance exam for Jonan University, he became friends with Gamu and became one of his closest friends at university. He actively helped Gamu in his research on quantum mechanics.
When the Radical Destruction Bringer attacked the city, Sato and Gamu witnessed the existence of the entity in the city and learned about the situation through the news. Afterwards, he joined the crowd in seeking shelter.Seize the Light!
After Gamu joined XIG, he along with Makoto, Nakaji, and others, was entrusted by Gamu to produce the Pilot-Wave irradiation device. During his time as a student, he once returned to his hometown due to heartbreak from a failed relationship. However, he was unexpectedly brainwashed and controlled by Psycho Mezard, causing him to become extremely violent. Later, one night while driving with a female classmate along the Shiroiwa Beach in Suyama City, their car unexpectedly broke down. After being brainwashed, Sato is trapped in Shinryoku.
After some time, he met a "Shiori Yabuki" who claimed to be a time traveler on the forum of the "Society for the Salvation of Mankind", and the two dated for a while. However, this person is actually a member of the Radical Destruction Cult, and Sato was brainwashed to join the cult under her guidance. When he regained consciousness, he was kidnapped by Yabuki and imprisoned in Shinryoku, but was eventually rescued by Ultraman Gaia.
