Sphenodon (スフェノドン, Spenodun) was a kaiju that appeared in the TV Series: Mirrorman. He appeared in Episode 20.

History

Mirrorman

Sphenodon was a large kind of lizard that was supposed to be extinct in ancient times. In the present day, a single member manipulated by the Invaders was causing destruction at sea, sinking seven ships. The military and SGM failed to stop the kaiju, and it even destroyed their underwater submarine base. Kyotaro transformed into Mirrorman and after a short fight, killed it with the Silver Cross.

Mirror Fight

Sphenodon appeared in episode 35 of Mirror Fight. Stock footage of his fight in Mirrorman was reused in this series.

Trivia

Sphenodon's roar is a reused Gabura roar.
Sphenodon could potentially be named after the lizard genus of the same name.

Powers and Weapons

Adapt Swimmer: Being an aquatic monster, Sphenodon can swim at moderate speeds.
