Tsutomu Konno is one of the main characters from Ultraman Ace. He is a member of TAC. Konno is the rocket engineering authority on the team, originally from Kyushu, and his family lives in Okayama Prefecture.

He has a very naive and funny personality and can often rely on humorous speeches to ease the atmosphere during task meetings. In addition, he is also a big eater.
Like Yamanaka, he is often skeptical of bizarre events and Hokuto's testimony. Since his father was an abbot, he often recited "Namo Amitabha Buddha" in times of crisis. Sometimes he also crosses himself while chanting.
