The Ultra Galaxy series, instead of focusing on an Ultraman, it focuses on a Reionyx named Rei (レイRei) who has no memories of his past and meets a crew of the team ZAP SPACY when they were crashed on a strange planet. The meet Rei when he comes out of rubble of an alien city, then when they are attacked by Red King he shows his Battle Nizer and summons Gomora to fight the monster. Ever since Rei has been with ZAP, regaining his memories and meeting the giant he had previously met, Ultraman.

Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster BattleEdit

Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle^[1] (ウルトラギャラクシー大怪獣バトルUrutora Gyarakushī Daikaijū Batoru^?) is the first season of its series that is the 24th entry in the Tsuburaya Productions' long-running Ultra Series. It is an adaption of the video game Mega Monster Battle: ULTRA MONSTERS. The show first aired on December 1, 2007 and concluded on February 23, 2008. On December 20, 2008, the second season titled Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey (ウルトラギャラクシー大怪獣バトル ＮＥＶＥＲ ＥＮＤＩＮＧ ＯＤＹＳＳＥＹUrutora Gyarakushī Daikaijū Batoru Nebā Endingu Odessei^?, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: NEO) will premiere. Ultra Galaxy was the first Ultra Series to be shown as a pay-per-viewservice.^[2]

Ultra Galaxy N.E.O (Never Ending Odyssey)Edit

Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey (ウルトラギャラクシー大怪獣バトル ＮＥＶＥＲ ＥＮＤＩＮＧ ＯＤＹＳＳＥＹUrutora Gyarakushī Daikaijū Batoru Nebā Endingu Odessei^?, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle NEO) is the second season and the 25th entry in Tsuburaya Productions' long-running Ultra Series. Like its predecessor Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, NEO is a pay-per-view service. The first episode was distributed for free online on December 12, 2008, and remained available until January 31, 2009.^[1] Broadcast of the show onNippon BS Broadcasting Digital BS11 beginning December 20, 2008. The series was followed by Mega Monster Battle Exercises, with Rei being the only returning cast character.

ZAP SPACYEdit

ZAP SPACY (ザップスペーシーZappu Supēshī^?): It is an organization which mainly mines energy resources using a spacecraft and supports planet reclamation.

Rei (レイ Rei?): A mysterious man with amnesia who joined as a member of ZAP SPACY. Being mysterious, he is also very often quiet. He is hostile to monsters and uses his Battle Nizer to fight them. He is haunted by the image of the giant buried in the rock, later revieled to be Ultraman and visions of two giants fightling, both later revieled to be Ultraseven and Armored Darkness. Having amnesia, he forgot his real name, but later leanred that he is an alien Reiblood called Reimon, which is his real name. So far, he has only summoned Gomora (ゴモラ Gemola?), Litra (リトラ Ritora?), Eleking (エレキング Erekingu?), and Miclas (ミクラス Mikurasu).

Haruna (ハルナ Haruna?): The subcaptain of the Space Pendragon. She is a strict ace pilot and is Hyuga's right-hand man. Although she was skeptical of Rei, she was rescued from Neronga by him and reconciled with him. It is later revieled that she came to planet Bolias to search for her older brother, who she believed was gone because of Bemstar but found and reunited with him on Vincent Isles. Her full name is Jun Haruna (榛名 ジュン Haruna Jun?).

Oki (オキ Oki?): The rookie crew member of the Space Pendragon. He is a monster maniac who was majoring in monsterology at university. He reasoned that the giant in Rei's memory is Ultraman. His full name is Koichi Oki (隠岐 恒一 Oki Kōichi?).

Kumano (クマノ Kumano?): The engineer of the Space Pendragon. The other members of Space Pendragon also tend to call him the Magician of the crew because of his repairing skills. It is believed that he has worked with Hyuga the longest of the others. His full name is Masahiko Kumano (熊野 雅彦 Kumano Masahiko?).

Hyuga (ヒュウガ Hyūga?): The captain of the Space Pendragon. He is hot-blooded man who is excellent in martial arts and has overcome many hardships all over the universe. Members have to call him "Boss." His full name is Hiroshi Hyuga (日向 浩 Hyūga Hiroshi?).

Mysterious GiantEdit

On Vincent Island is a mysterious giant buried in the rocks that appears in Rei's visions. It had created a spiritual barrier on Vincent Island to protect it, sacrificing its life in the process. It is eventually revealed to be Ultraman, and is a key in Rei's reawakening as Reimon.

Other CharactersEdit

Hiroki (ヒロキ Hiroki?): The leader of Vincent Island which was the officer of the resources transportation base in Belargo City, and Jun's elder brother. He has once served as the subcaptain of the Space Pendragon under Hyuga. His full name is Hiroki Haruna (榛名 ヒロキ Haruna Hiroki?).

Ato (アトウ Atō?): The subleader of Vincent Island who was a scientist of Belargo city.

Karen Mikura (御蔵 カレン Mikura Karen?): A girl who is one of the survivors in Belargo City. She had taken care of a mysterious baby temporarily. She discovered the mysterious giant and heard the mysterious giant's voice.

Kate (ケイト Keito?): A mysterious woman who interferes with Rei using every possible means and has a Battle Nizer like Rei's. She uses the appearance of a bio-plant researcher named Maki Azusa (アズサ マキ Azusa Maki?). While she appears to be evil in her first appearance, it is revealed that she is Rei's older sister and her goal is to reawaken Rei as Reimon and like him is a Reiblood. So far, she has only summoned Golza (ファイヤーゴルザ Goruza?), Gan-Q (ガンQ Gankyū?), and Zetton (ゼットン Zetton?). In the finale, she uses Zetton to battle Rei's Gomora and wins, only to be attacked by King Joe Black who fights Zetton. In the end, she succeeds in her goal and Reimon is awakened but Gomora becomes EX Gomora and kills Zetton, seemingly killing Kate in the process. However, in Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle Neo, it was revealed she survived.

Dail (ダイル Dairu?): A member of the Reionyx Hunter (レイオニクスハンター Reionikusu Hantā?) formed by the Alien Pedan (ペダン星人 Pedan Seijin?) attacking users of Battle Nizers. Dail had probably helped ZAP SPACY find Rei and Captin Hyuga because he is ashamed of everything he's done.

Harlan (ハーラン Hāran?): The supreme commander of the Planet Hammer Detachment (惑星ハマー派遣部隊 Wakusei Hamā Haken Butai?) of the Reionyx Hunter.

Grande (グランデ Gurande?): A Reionyx of the Alien Keel (キール星人 Kīru Seijin?) with the Neo Battle Nizer, which makes him one of the strongest Reionyx on Planet Hammer at the time of Rei's arrival. He has a very odd and funny personality, which hides the fact that he is one of the most dangerous and powerful Reionyx, and he would have killed Rei in their first battle had not Eleking cut the link between them. He also becomes deeply infatuated with Rei's sister, Kate (ケイト Keito?), when she appears to him. He joins Rei in battling the Alien Reiblood in the final episode, and insists that someday Rei will have to introduce his sister to him. So far, he has only summoned Tyrant (タイラント Tairanto?) and Red King (レッドキング Reddo Kingu?), and he is capable of evolving Red King to EX Mode.

Ultra SevenEdit

Ultra Seven fought Armoured Darkness, went into Armoured Darkness himself, and sealed Armoured Darkness. He showed the vision fighting Armoured Darkness through his Eye Slugger to Rei after that. After Rei destroyed Armoured Darkness, he gave Rei his Miclas until the end of the battle in the Planet Hammer.

ShipEdit

Space Pendragon (スペースペンドラゴン Spēsu Pendoragon?): The space transport ship of the ZAP SPACY. The lower part is equipped with the variable cargo. Originally, although it is not a spacecraft for a battle, it is armed with the Wyvern Missile (ワイバーンミサイル Waibān Misairu?), the Anti Asteroid Cannon (対アステロイド砲 Tai Asuteroido Hō?), and the Hyper Omega Cannon (ハイパーオメガ砲 Haipā Omega Hō?). Dragon Speeder Alpha (ドラゴンスピーダーα Doragon Supīdā Arufa?): It is Small fighter jet separated from the nose. Dragon Speeder Beta (ドラゴンスピーダーβ Doragon Supīdā Bēta?): It is small fighter jet separated from the top part. Gostar Dragon (ゴースタードラゴン Gōsutā Doragon?): Red body of the same model as the Space Pendragon.

EquipmentEdit

Battle Nizer (バトルナイザー Batoru Naizā?): It is an item that allows Rei to summon a monster through a system called MonsLoad (モンスロード Monsurōdo?). Rei commands the monster, such that when the monster gets injured too much, Rei has no choice but to call him back. The 3 monsters he can summon are Gomora, Litra & Eleking.

Tri Gunner (トライガンナー Torai Gan'nā?): It is a multifunction gun which the ZAP SPACY crew uses. [edit]

Neo Battle Nizer (ネオバトルナイザーNeo Batoru Naizā^?): The newest evolution of the Battle Nizer, given only to those deemed to be the strongest members of the Reionyx.
