Ultraman Orb: The Chronicle (ウルトラマンオーブ THE CHRONICLEクロニクル, Urutoraman Ōbu Za Kuronikuru) -(not to be confused with the Ultraman Orb Chronicle)- is a series that tells the story of Ultraman Orb's adventures from Ultraman Orb up to Ultra Fight Orb. It also features Gai Kurenai, the navigator of the series, reflecting on some of the battles of his predecessors.[1]

  1. Fight! Ultraman Orb! (戦え! ウルトラマンオーブ!, Tatakae! Urutoraman Ōbu): Gai Kurenai introduces himself and showcases Orb's first three Fusion Up forms, along with some of the battles and capabilities of past Ultra Warriors.
  2. The Sunset Wanderer - Crash! Maga-Basser (夕陽の風来坊 激突! マガバッサー, Yūhi no Fūraibō Gekitotsu! Maga Bassā): SSP members Naomi, Jetta and Shin investigated a huge tornado that hits the city after spotting a giant bird. As they get there, another giant appears.
  3. The King Demon Beast of Earth - Maga-Grand King's Threat! (土塊の魔王 マガグランドキングの脅威!, Tsuchikure no Maō Maga Gurando Kingu no Kyōi!): A series of disappearances happened simultaneously in the city. While Shin investigates it, Jugglus Juggler releases Maga-Grand King.
  4. Monstrous Waters - Defeat Maga-Jappa! (怪獣水球 マガジャッパを倒せ!, Kaijū Suiki Maga Jappa wo Taose!): Water supplies in the city begins to go foul as Gai discovers it to be the job of another King Demon Beast, Maga-Jappa.
  5. Maga-Pandon's Assault! - Beware of Fire in the Midsummer Sky (マガパンドン襲来! 真夏の空に火の用心, Maga-Pandon Shūrai Manatsu no Sora ni Hinoyōjin): The temperature is increased greatly as a kaiju in the shape of the sun heats up the area. Ultraman Orb pushes it into space as a temporary solution, but he runs out of energy and is badly injured. While he is injured, the SSP look for a way to defeat the enemy.
  6. A Heart That Won't Flee - Hurricane Slash's Appearance! (逃げない心 ハリケーンスラッシュ参上!, Nigenai Kokoro Harikēn Surasshu Sanjō): Naomi gets a call from a civilian who claims to be chasing an alien. After following her, it turns out be a trap and the civilian was an Alien Zetton in disguise, who calls himself Maddock. He is hiding Hyper Zetton in a building. Gai hearing the message sent to Jetta about the civilian, uses the location data on her phone to find her and rushes to save Naomi.
  7. Fierce Battle! Fusion Up Fight! (激闘! フュージョンアップファイト!, Gekitō! Fyūjon Appu Faito!): Gai showcases the remainder of his various forms, along with the capabilities of the Ultra Warriors he borrows his powers from.
  8. Ultraman Orb The Movie: Lend Me The Power of Bonds! Chapter 1: Sadeath's Return (劇場版ウルトラマンオーブ 絆の力、おかりします! 『第1章 サデスの帰還』, Gekijōban Urutoraman Ōbu Kizuna no Chikara, Okarishimasu! Dai 1-shō Sadesu no Kikan): Gai Kurenai returns after a long journey and is faced with the threat of an old enemy - Alien Gapiya Sadeath.
  9. Ultraman Orb The Movie: Lend Me The Power of Bonds! Chapter 2: Space Witch Mulnau's Counterattack (劇場版ウルトラマンオーブ 絆の力、おかりします! 『第2章 宇宙魔女賊ムルナウの逆襲』, Gekijōban Urutoraman Ōbu Kizuna no Chikara, Okarishimasu! Dai 2-shō Uchū Majo Zoku Murunau no Gyakushū)
  10. Ultraman Orb The Movie: Lend Me The Power of Bonds! Chapter 3: The New Generation (劇場版ウルトラマンオーブ 絆の力、おかりします! 『第3章 新たなる世代』, Gekijōban Urutoraman Ōbu Kizuna no Chikara, Okarishimasu! Dai 3-shō Aratanaru Sedai)
  11. Babarue's Heart - The Impostor Blues (ババルウの心 ニセモノのブルース, Babarū no Kokoro Nise mono no Burūsu): Don Nostra of the Planet Invasion Union sends Alien Babarue to earth, with the plan the humans' trust by disguising as Ultraman Orb and destroying buildings, but their plan is ruined when a monster interrupts them, making the Fake Orb defeat the monster, and things go more awry as Jetta finds him and thinks he is Orb's secret identity.
  12. Trouble! Mama's Here! - Maga Orochi's Resurrection (大変! ママが来た!復活のマガオロチ, Taihen! Mama ga kita! Fukkatsu no Maga Orochi): Naomi asks Gai to accompany her to meet her mother, but their meeting is ruined when Juggler is revealed to be alive and explains his new plan, now that he possesses all the King Demon Beasts' Kaiju Card and Ultraman Belial's Ultra Fusion Card. 
  13. The Dark King's Blessing - Birth! Thunder Breastar (黒き王の祝福 誕生!サンダーブレスター, Kuroki Ō no Shukufuku Tanjō! Sandā Buresutā): With Ultraman Orb defeated, and his cards stolen, Maga-Orochi rages through the city, destroying everything. With the help of the Princess Tamaruya, Gai gets two new cards he can use, the Zoffy card and the Ultraman Belial card.
  14. An Unforgettable Place - Struggling Fight! Zeppandon! (忘れられない場所 大苦戦! ゼッパンドン!, Wasurenai Basho Dai Kusen! Zeppandon!): Gai feels guilty for almost killing Naomi, and his confidence as a Ultra warrior is ruined. Juggler, taking advantage of this, creates an even stronger threat. Gai cannot win without Thunder Breastar's power but neither can he take the risk of using it.
  15. The Holy Sword, Restored - Awaken! Orb Origin!! (復活の聖剣 覚醒せよ! オーブオリジン!!, Fukkatsu no Seiken Kakuseseyo! Ōbu Orijin!!): Ultraman Orb can't keep up with Zeppandon, even with the use of Thunder Breastar, but Naomi has given Gai new hope and the courage to believe in himself, returning back to his original form, Orb Origin.
  16. Hard-Boiled River - Shibukawa's Long Day (ハードボイルドリバー シブカワの長い一日, Hādo Boiru Ribā Shibukawa no nagai Ichinichi): Shibukawa Ittetsu hasn't been doing too well with his daughter because of work, so the SSP and his daughter decide to secretly follow him around during work hours to check on what he's been doing recently.
  17. The Unmarked Cafe - Mysterious! The Saucer Organism Nova (地図にないカフェ  怪奇! 円盤生物ノーバ, Chizu ni nai Kafē Kaiki! Enban Seibutsu Nōba): The Black Star Cafe, unmarked on any maps, serves wonderful coffee. When the SSP take a visit, they soon learn that the owner and its regular customers aren't human.
  18. The Blade of Darkness - Orb VS Juggler (闇の刃 オーブ対ジャグラー, Yami No Yaiba Ōbu tai Jagurā): Juggler finally decides to end his rivalry with Gai, but not in a peaceful way.
  19. The Ultimate King Devil Beast Strikes Back - Magata no Orochi! (逆襲の超大魔王獣マガタノオロチ!, Gyakushū no Chō Dai Mao-Jū Magata no Orochi!): Maga Orochi has been reborn as its fully developed form, Magata no Orochi, the legendary Devourer of Worlds.
  20. The Wandering Sun - The Earth's Greatest Battle! (さすらいの太陽 地球最大の決戦!, Sasurai no Taiyō Chikyū saidai no kessen!): Magata no Orochi is finally defeated with the power of light, darkness, and friendship. Gai takes his leave as he goes off on another adventure.
  21. Ultra Fight Orb - Lend Me The Power of Father And Son! (ウルトラファイトオーブ 親子の力、おかりします!, Urutora Faito Ōbu Oyako no Chikara, Okarishimasu!): A ghost mage that can manipulate the soul of any monster appears, with the intent of ruling the universe. With a new enemy that can manipulate a monster's soul, Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Zero emerge to stand in his way.
  22. Fight to the Death of the Morning Glow - Ginga and Victory! (朝焼けの死闘 ギンガ&ビクトリー!, Asayake no Shitou Ginga to Bikutorī!): Five monsters combine into Five King. Ginga and Victory's onslaught is a failure. The Ultras vanish as Android One Zero begins to self destruct, and tries to destroy the UPG base.
  23. Sword of Victory - Fierce Battle! Ultraman X (勝利への剣 激闘! ウルトラマンエックス, Shōri e no Tsurugi Gekitō! Urutoraman Ekkusu): Gina Spectre is able to open up wormholes into other worlds, and through one brings a captured Shou and unknowingly UPG member Arisa (from Ultraman Ginga S). It's up to Daichi and the others to find Shou and stop Gina Spectre as she uses the Dark Thunder energy to her advantage.
  24. The Shining Sky, and the Land Beneath It - Gathering! Three Great Ultramen! (光る大空、繋がる大地 集結! 3大ウルトラマン!, Hikaru Ōzora, Tsunagaru Daichi Shūketsu! San Dai Urutoraman!): Freed by Daichi and Xio, and joined by Hikaru Raido who had defeated the Spectre forces in the UPG world, Shou teaches Daichi some sword techniques to fight better.
  25. The Leo Brothers vs the Monster Brothers - When The Lion's Eyes Shine! (レオ兄弟対兄弟怪獣 獅子の瞳が輝くとき!, Reo Kyōdai Tai Kaijū Kyōdai Shishi no Hitomi ga Kagayaku Toki!): When monster brothers attack Tokyo, Leo remembers the loss of his own younger brother, Astra. But Astra may not be truely gone.
  26. Delivering Orb's Prayer! - New Heroes Appear! (届けオーブの祈り! 新たなる英雄ヒーロー登場!, Todoke Ōbu no Inori! Aratanaru Hīro Tōjō): Gai returns to Planet O-50, where the ring of light atop the Warrior's Peak tells him about the emergence of two new heroes.

Trivia

  • The titles of most episodes are the same as their main series counterparts, with a few words added.
  • Episode 1 is a revised version of Ultraman Orb's pre-series Retrospective Special.
  • Unlike Ultraman Zero: The Chronicle before it, this series does not have an updated version of the star Ultra's theme song, until episode 8 was aired, where it used a new version of Orb no Inori featuring May J., who also sung the series' ending song HERO, and the theme song of Ultraman Geed The Movie.
  • At the time of its airing, there were essentially two separate runs of Ultraman Orb on Tsuburaya's YouTube Channel; this series, and the Mandarin dub of the main series for Taiwanese audiences.
  • This series references elements present in the Ultraman Orb Chronicle several times (For example, on the titles of episodes 8 and 9 are also lifted from the title of the 7th chapter of the Ultraman Orb Chronicle - "Chapter 7: 'Space Witch Mulnau's Counterattack, Sadeath's Return' (第7章「宇宙魔女賊ムルナウの逆襲・サデスの帰還」, Dai Nana-shō 'Uchū Majo Zoku Murunau no Gyakushū・Sadesu no Kikan')"
  • Episode 16's title extension, "Shibukawa's Long Day", was the initial title for the original episode.
  • In episode 21, the rerun of Ultra Fight Orb has many scenes that were cut out due to time restraints. The scenes are:
    • The many scenes where Gai sees visions of Emerium Slugger.
    • Zero's venture on Planet Yomi and the appearance of Juda Spectre before him.
    • The disappearance of the Giga Battle Nizer.
    • The entire epilogue.
    • Many other minor scenes.
