Okay, I have been posting way too many Zelda-related blogs lately. Time to break it up with one that, in spite of being 11 years old, is still arguably a timeless classic.
I'm talking about Okami. In spite of having come out in 2006, it was arguably ahead of its time with the quality of its graphics. And the Celestial Brush was arguably one of the most amazing mechanics in the game, useful both in and out of combat. Also, the fact that you gain experience not from fighting, but instead from doing good deeds and receiving praise, was fairly innovative, and arguably made a great deal of sense considering you essentially were playing as a god.
