Shout! Factory just released Ultraseven and Ultra Q for streaming! You can find the respective series here and here. This makes these two, one the original entry into the Ultra Series, and the other the most popular ultra show ever to air, freely available to fans in the United States! Fourth of July present, I guess.
As for those in other countries, you can use a VPN such as Hola. It's easy!

UM Corporation vs Tsuburaya Pro.
Tsuburaya Productions is having yet more licencing trouble with the Ultra Series, this time, they're being sued by UM Corporation. As I pointed out in Thread:62096, UM obtained its distribution rights from Chaiyo, infamous for their legal battle over the rights to Ultraman. Here I'm looking at UM's complaint, which you can read here. Keep in mind I'm not a lawyer, so don't take everything I say as absolute.
First off, this shows Chaiyo is determined this time to release all the "original six" series stateside. It is no coincidence that Mr. Sompote recently opened his "Ultraman USA Inc.," and began plans for a film.

Good News and Bad News
I Just obtained a lot of news about ultra both good and bad.. good news first.
Ultra Q through Ultraman Taro will get proper blue-ray releases in English! This is the first time Taro, Return of Ultraman, and Ace will be available in English! They will most likely be dubbed.
Now for the very bad news.
Chaiyo and Sompote Sands are the people behind these releases. They're also intent on releasing a film called "ULTRAMAN VS GOMOLA" (Gomora) sometime in the next few years, entirely CGI with no suit effects. (That aside, Gomora for a movie monster? I know he's popular but he's... Gomora... the most monster of the week monster in the ultra series.)

Unless, like me, you habit CC fairly often, you're probably unaware of a new feature Staff released quietly on Wednesday. It's called "Wiki Insights," and is a tool to help you find what needs to be fixed on a wiki. It's still in beta, and staff has a lot more plans for it as it's only in its first stage.
