2006 Was a great time to be an Ultra fan in Thailand... as long as you didn't care about that silly little law called Intellectual Property.
I was actually pretty young at the time and didn't find out until much later about the whole Chaiyo debacle, so I managed to amass a fair amount of Merch.
This is either getting given away are sold so I figured I'd post these here for Posterity's sake.
Needless to most of these are really cheap and feel like they'd disintegrate if I held them for too long, especially after all these years.
Let me know what you guys think. Should we add these to the wiki perhaps?
This was some moving-light-up statue that played lights and noise when you clicked a button on his back.
A vinyl t-shirt. This is the only time I've ever seen that Seijin, I think it's connected to the movie but not sure.
This is Ultraman the Ultimate Fighting by CyberPlanet. It's a fighting game... not a very good one I don't think
CyberPlanet also made this; The Taro Adventure.
There was a line of action figures and I ended up collecting all of them. They didn't come with accessories or anything.
These figures came two waves apparently, and the second one included Dark and Elite. I only ended up getting Dark.
He's basically a discount sofubi, real cheap feeling with odd points of articulation.
This where Chaiyo got in trouble. They only had rights to pre-Leo Ultramen, but here they were pasting Heisei dudes all over the place. This was a major part in the court ruling in Tsuburaya's favor,
Sompote Sangduenchai... eeyup.
A blow-up punching dummy.
