Ultra Q The Movie: Legend of the Stars[]
In this film, Yuriko Edogawa was a new employee at the TTV, a television production company. She accompanied Jun and Ippei as they searched for Hamano.
After witnessing the Eternal Island, the director of the TTV's journalism department, Yamane, forced her to confess what they had seen, leading to the TTV's sponsors wanting to turn the village near the Eternal Island into a tourism location. To prevent this, the Eternal Land's believers summoned Nagira to destroy the village, as she and Jun observed the devastation in shock. The pair also watched as Mayumi Hoshino left Earth in a rocket, having given up on protecting the planet's nature. In the end, Yuriko, Jun and Ippei returned to the TTV, laughing when Ippei joked that the believers should have taken Yamane on their rocket. Ultra Q The Movie: Legend of the Stars
Ultraman Max[]
In this series, Ultra Q was a TV show, and Yuriko Edogawa was a character portrayed by actress Hiroko Sakuragi
. In 1964, Sakuragi discussed the filming of Ultra Q, then called UNBALANCE, with others actors and staff.Later, a crew member named Naramaru got lost in a cave, prompting Sakuragi, Kenji Sahashi, Yasuhiko Saigo and other staff to enter the cave and search for him. They eventually found Naramaru injured near a much smaller Geronga. While the crew escorted him to safety, the three actors fended off the monster with a shovel, tripod and camera. Cameraman Utsumi attempted to record the chaos, but Geronga shot a fireball that burnt the camera and its film. Saigo then broke its fang, making the monster flee, though its thrashing around caused the tunnel to collapse as the group escaped. Why Do Monsters Appear

Trivia[]
- Yuriko's actress, Hiroko Sakurai, would go on to play Akiko Fuji in Ultraman and become a producer at Tsuburaya Productions.
- In Ultraman Max, Sakurai portrayed Yukari Yoshinaga throughout the series. As such, unlike Kenji Sahara and Yasuhiko Saijo, she does not portray an older Hiroko Sakuragi, an actress who represents her in episode 29, though she still meets their two characters at the end of the episode, making it a reunion between the three main characters of Ultra Q.
